	These are a few commands to help get you started. It is recommended that you review all the commands, because there are many options and supplemental commands. These will explain how to set your rank, communicate, and to observe and start games. Only the match command is listed in this section, but before playing, be sure to read Basics For Playing Games and More About Playing Games. This will reduce the risk of incorrect game results. The commands are presented from the IGS perspective. If you use a client, please remember that client commands may differ from the IGS commands. Some clients support all or most of the IGS commands, while others support a limited set. All the clients, except for the Panda Egg, are written by talented people not associated with IGS. If you have questions, or require help with a client, please contact the author of your client program.
