commands

Usage: stats 'name of the player'

The stats command can be used to determine if a player is currently on IGS or not, if they are observing or playing a game, how long they have been idle, when they last appeared on IGS (if they are not on IGS), and to obtain a little information about a player.

Example:  stats tillie

If you use stats without a player's name, it will display your stats, and defaults will display additional information that can be set with the toggle command. This includes the ability to set the switches for Verbose, Bell, Quiet, Shout, Automail, Open, Looking, Client, Kibitz, and Chatter to true or false. For example, you may wish to not see the shouts of other players. You can use the toggle command to set Shout to false, and you will not see shouts.

If the player is currently playing a game, stats will display
Playing in game : (and the game number and type of game).

If the player is observing a game, stats will dislay
Observing game : (and the game number they are observing).
