Welcome to IGS Panda Net at igs.joyjoy.net 6969
The IGS Panda Net home page is located at: http://igs.joyjoy.net
These are some of the basic _commands_ to help get you started on IGS:
who, games, observe, chatter, kibitz, tell, shout, stats,
rank, match, coords, toggle
Enter: help (followed by the command. Example: help who)
'help' can be shortened to: ? (Example: ? motd)
For the complete list of commands and documents, enter: help commands
For a summary of all the commands, use: mail me Summary or help Summary
When reading a 'help command (or filename)', you will see 2 types of brackets.
<filename> <--The < > means the 'filename' is required.
(angle brackets are used for required arguments)
[filename] <--The [ ] means the 'filename' is not required
(square brackets are used for non-required arguments)
In the commands the < > and [ ] are not part of the commands. Leave out
the angle brackets, or square brackets.
For additional suggested reading, see:
client, ftp, channel, yell, mail, user, motd, load, score
*Note: Most commands can be abbreviated. Example, kib is the same as kibitz
You can Email to yourself any IGS help file with: mail me filename
The IGS help files are for pure IGS usage only. If you are using a client
please be aware some clients do not make use of all the IGS commands and
functions in a "client mode". In this case switch to a non-client mode.
