o flag is useful in combination with the

The
who display will show letters or numbers,
or both, in three areas to the left of the players. The letters indicate
the state of certain switches. The first number indicates the number
of a game a person is observing, the second number indicates the number
of a game a player is involved in playing.

tobe'
has the letter 'Q' and the number '12' to the left of the name. This
indicates tobe has disabled seeing system messages, and that tobe is
observing game 12.
