free

Usage: free

'free' is used to make a game rated (count towards a player's rating), and
'free' is used to make a game not rated. 'free' must be used before the
second move. Either player may enter 'free', but only one player should
enter 'free'. Entering 'free' a second time, by either player, will cancel
 the first 'free'.

If a game is a free game (not rated), there will be an 'F' in the 'games'
display. If a game is a rated game, there will be an 'R' in the 'games'
display. You can use the 'games' command to see if a game is a free game or
a rated game. See: help games

The ratings of both players will determine at the beginning of a game if the
game is rated or not rated. For complete details it is highly suggested you
read: help rating and help freegame

Rated games are games between players with a 'rank', AND their difference in
strength is 3 stones or less (including handicaps to balance the strength
to within 3 stones or less). If the difference is 4 stones or greater, then
the game is _not_ a rated game. Completed games with less than 30 moves
 are also free games.
