My memorable game is from the series Mini-Go Play-offs, played on a 9x9 board. This series continued for 15 years as part of a Go program telecast by Yomiuri TV in the Kansai (western Honshu). Ma Xiaochun 9-dan of China was invited to appear as a guest and he played ten games against Kansai players.

This game was played 20 years ago. I was in the second year of my career. Though it was only a 9x9 board, Ma was one of the world's top players. The time allowance was two minutes 30 seconds; if you used up your time, you lost. I was very tense, but also very happy.
