Being interviewed with my husband

I was very happy in autumn last year when the Married Couples Cup was planned. I usually study with my husband, but how would a game together go, I wondered. It was an exciting prospect.
The day before we carefully looked the Hoshino Resort's HP (one of the subsidiary prizes) and were full of fighting spirit.
Well, when the game began, I was surprised by the irregular corner enclosure that appeared in the bottom left. I was further surprised at the bold cap of Black 19. I didn't think that my husband played this kind of bold opening!
I dislike popular openings, so was he trying to match me? My tension became greater.

Instead of 29, Black should play a diagonal attachment at 4-16.
Instead of 93, Black should add a stone in the centre at 8-10 and stake the game on the life or death of the group on the right side.
Black 109 is a very bad move played to save time. White secures the territory on the left side and our defeat becomes certain.

In the end, we got a single chance because of a mistake by our opponents, but you deserve to lose when you play such bad moves. In particular, our failure to cut at 112 really disappoints me when I look at the game record now. Our play was too spiritless.
I've completely lost confidence in my reading because of numerous failures, but there's no future for me if I don't overcome this.
Let's leave my regrets at this. My husband regretted that we didn't combine well together. It's certainly true that the other team was playing as if they were one player. They're strong to begin with, so this made things worse. During the game, I couldn't help laughing when Ayumi passed the buck to her husband and he passed it back to here.
If only I hadn't laughed then . . . If only I had been concentrating more, we might have been able to pull down the big group in the centre . . .
And got the resort tickets . . .
If I were to get another chance, this time I would really like to make my husband happy!
