I played this game with Otake Sensei in a preliminary round of the Meijin tournament in 2007. When I was a child, I replayed games every day as study. I really liked Otake Sensei's games and often played through them.

As for the content of the game, I played the opening well by my standards, and I thought the game was a good contest. Around the time I played an atari at 88 and pushed up with 90, I felt good, but soon after I played the losing move, the connection at 98.

When Black extended solidly at 99, at one stroke the game became tough for me . . . I should have taken care of my bottom left position by making a solid extension or playing an atari in the centre.

Playing my first game with Otake, I was tense, but it was a good experience. He is a small man, but when he sits in front of the Go board he really seems to be big. My father, who taught me to play, was happy, which also made me happy. I look forward to playing him again, so I will do my best. (^o^)
