Letter
How are you spending your days in this season in which the wind freezes you to the bones?

In November, I was invited to the Hyuga Clamshell Go Stone Festival and the Kumano Nachi Black Go Stone Festival, so I made pilgrimages to the sacred sites of white and black Go stones.

I heard from the manufacturers that Nachi black slate stones absorb energy, then release it and that clamshells repel energy. It impressed me to realize that moves that make sparks fly on the Go board are actually releasing the energy of the stones themselves.

In the new year, I hope to enjoy Go with all of you while experiencing the energy of the stones. I hope you all have a great year.
