2005 honda vtx 1300.
I'm riding a 05 Honda VTX 1300R. Had it knocked down in a parking lot a couple years ago. Insurance paid for most of the repairs, but have slowly had electrical issues over time. I had battery connector melt from a loose connection, replaced the battery, and then started randomly losing throttle. Eventually, the bike stopped running.

Jun 15, 2008 · VTX 1300C gear shift. Hello, I just purchased a 2005 Honda VTX 1300C and was just curious if anybody on here has every adjusted their gear selector. Even with regular shoes on I can barley get my foot under the peg to shift gears. I havent looked at it very close yet, but if anybody has some insight on this, it would be much appreciated.

1300 Carb Adjustment. OK. Here is where I am at with adjusting the carb on my '05 1300C. Bike accelerates fine until around 3rd gear. Then it acts like it is struggling to get fuel. At 3rd gear thru 5th in cruising speeds bike surges back and forth with power.
