The resort is 2-2.5 stars at best, NOT 3.5 stars. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, old and sagging badly in spots. The AC barely works, and not enough to cool the tiny room. Upon arrival, we were offered the “all-inclusive” food package at an astronomical price.

The staff are what truly made this place exceptional. Daniel, Freddy, Chef Eliza, Monique, Ray and many others were so welcoming and kind.Although the resort is billed as an \"eco all-inclusive,\" Thatch Caye's packages don't include fishing, diving, or some tours. Every room on the island (cabanas and bungalows) has air conditioning.
