Kisaburo Onogawa became a Yokozuna (a grand champion sumo wrestler) at the same time as his friendly rival Tanikaze. Both Onogawa and Tanikaze were very famous, though Onogawa received sponsorship from a Daimyo (a feudal lord). There was a monster who appeared in the Daimyo's villa every night. One night, Onogawa stayed late at the Daimyo's villa, and when the Daimyo went to sleep, Onogawa was awake pondering a go proverb. Suddenly, the big bold monster appeared. It looked at Onogawa, made its neck very long, and hit Onogawa lightly. Onogawa laughed: he could see through the monster and realized that the monster was just an old fox that had changed its form.
