question2
Hello, Ms. Nakajima.
For the last couple of years, I’ve been stuck around 2- or 3-kyu. I always get upset in the endgame. How should I study to get stronger at the endgame? I’d be grateful for your advice.

answer
Hello, Mr. Sasaki.
The endgame! This is a difficult question. I don’t know how to study it myself and I’ve wondered a number of times how to go about it.
To begin with, playing actual games is best, I think. In the course of play, you encounter various different kinds of positions, so you can learn from each game. The ideal is to keep sente, so focus on this.
Another really helpful method is to review the game with your opponent. The fact that you often suffer upsets shows that if you can just get over your problems with the endgame, you’ll be close to 1-dan.
